This research is based on the author's interest in plyometric exercises to apply to the 12-16 year age group, and looking at the population in applying research on leg power using plyometric exercises. The research method used is an experiment with a one group pretest-posttest research design. The population in this study were all athletic extracurricular participants of SMPN 1 SUKAWANGI who attended the athletic sports club (Sukawangi Athletics Club). Sampling in this study using saturated sampling technique, namely all members of the population were used as samples totaling 16 people. The instrument used in this study was the Standing Broad Jump Test. The data collection technique was carried out by giving an initial test before being given the treatment of a plyometric exercise program and the final test was given after the treatment of a plyometric exercise program. Data processing techniques were carried out with descriptive statistical analysis and correlation tests using SPSS version 15. Based on the results of the correlation test of the results of plyometric training from the initial test to the final test, it was found that plyometric training can significantly increase leg power.
2024-11-26T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Ilmiah Adiraga : Jurnal Penelitian Olahragahttps://jurnal.unipasby.ac.id/index.php/adi_raga/article/view/9716The effect hurdle drill training on leg muscle power in the ollie technique on skateboarding players at Monkasel Skatepark Surabaya2024-11-18T23:51:09+07:00Hevval Widiarava Putrahevvalwidiarava@gmail.comRiga Mardhikahevvalwidiarava@gmail.com
This research aims to determine the effect of Hurdle Drill Trainning On Leg Muscle Power In The Ollie Technique On Skateboarding Players At Monkasel Skatepark Surabaya. This research uses quantitative research methods with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The following data results show these findings: comparison of pretest and posttest scores obtained from the 30 meter running test. The two-sided sig p value is 0.023, which is less than (<0.05), as can be observed. Extracurricular sports are one of the sports activities that can affect physical fitness. In reality, there is no real evidence about the contribution to physical fitness. This study aims to analyze the relationship between physical activity and physical fitness in extracurricular students of MAN 2 Tuban. The study was conducted at MAN 2 Tuban with a sample of 55 students who participated in futsal, volleyball, and athletics extracurricular activities. The level of physical activity of students in this study was measured by the Physical Activity Questionnaire-Adolescents (PAQ-A), while the physical fitness test used the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test (TKJI). Participation in extracurricular activities at MAN 2 Tuban that involved physical activity significantly contributed to improving students' physical fitness. This is based on the value (sig) <α (0.005) and the results of the correlation coefficient which showed a value of (0.720 = strong relationship) which was positive. This means that there is a significant relationship between physical activity and physical fitness in extracurricular students of MAN 2 Tuban.

Keywords: Physical Activity, Extracurricular, Physical Fitness
2024-11-29T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Ilmiah Adiraga : Jurnal Penelitian Olahragahttps://jurnal.unipasby.ac.id/index.php/adi_raga/article/view/9801The Ultimate 14-Day Challenge: The Journey to Becoming an Indonesian U23 National Football Team Player2024-11-26T08:18:26+07:00Mohammad Haykal Alhafishaykalalhafis23@gmail.comIsmawandi Bripandika Putrahaykalalhafis23@gmail.comAngga Indra Kusumahaykalalhafis23@gmail.com
Abstract

This study explores the 14-day selection process for the U23 national football team. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, with data collected through observations and interviews with coaches and athletes involved in the selection program. The findings reveal that the selection process evaluates a wide range of attributes, including physical abilities, technical skills, tactical understanding, mental resilience, and strategic decision-making, all of which influence the final decision. This process not only focuses on physical performance but also highlights the critical role of psychological and tactical aspects in player evaluation. The comprehensive selection approach contributes to forming a more prepared and competitive team for international competitions. The study suggests that a holistic approach to athlete evaluation, covering physical, psychological, and strategic components, leads to better outcomes in terms of team readiness and competitiveness. It is concluded that such a thorough assessment of athletes results in a more prepared and competitive team for international competitions.

Keywords: selection, player, football
2024-11-29T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Ilmiah Adiraga : Jurnal Penelitian Olahragahttps://jurnal.unipasby.ac.id/index.php/adi_raga/article/view/9783The Influence Of Push-Ups On The Accuracy Of Underhand Serves In The Women's Volleyball Team Of Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya2024-11-19T00:10:27+07:00Muhammad Miftakhussururkhussururm@gmail.comAchmad Nuryadikhussururm@gmail.com
Abstract

This research was motivated by the low proficiency in underhand serves among the women's volleyball team of Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of push-ups on the accuracy of underhand serves in this team. The research employed a quantitative experimental design using a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The subjects consisted of 10 female students from the university's volleyball team. Data collection methods included pretests, the intervention (push-up training), and posttests. Data analysis involved tests for normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing. Based on the posttest results, the implementation of push-up exercises successfully increased arm muscle strength among the volleyball team members, thereby improving their underhand serving accuracy. The hypothesis testing results showed that Sig. (2-tailed), 0.000 < α, 0.05, indicating rejection of Ho and acceptance of Ha.
