Abstract

Learning in early childhood requires innovative and fun learning media to develop children's language skills. The aim of this research is to improve the language skills of young children in Deli Serdang using interactive power point media. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with data collection in the form of observation and literature study. The research results show that interactive media plays an important role in the process of providing stimulation because this media can facilitate understanding and strengthen children's memories. Interactive media is one type of media that is widely used, not only providing information about learning but can package it with entertaining elements. Early childhood language needs to be trained using various methods, including using creative and innovative learning media. From this problem, it is necessary to develop interactive media to make lessons more varied which will help develop the language aspects of early childhood. The use of interactive media can increase children's learning motivation and create a fun atmosphere for children. Teachers play a very important role in maximizing children's language skills by providing stimulation in the learning process at school. Improving the speaking skills of young children in Deli Serdang is stimulated through play activities using interactive media. The media used is PowerPoint which can be used flexibly by both teachers and parents.
