Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in comments to the editor).
  • The submission file is in Open Office, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

1. The Manuscript General Guidelines

The manuscript text general guidelines are as follows:

  1. The manuscript is the authentic research result that has not been published yet in other publication media or publishing houses.
  2. Manuscript accepted standard written in Indonesia.
  3. The manuscript text is thought to be written as this article template. The article is written on A4-size paper (210x297 mm), with custom margins as follows: left 30 mm, right 30 mm, bottom 30 mm and top 30 mm, Times New Roman font, 12pt font size, and 1.5 line-spacing.
  4. The manuscript is typed using Microsoft Word program on A4 Paper, around 3,000-5,000 words including figures, tables, and references.
  5. The manuscript does not contain any plagiarism element. The editorial board will directly reject the text that indicates plagiarism. We use plagiarism software to check your manuscript with Turnitin.
  6. The manuscript consists of five main headings: Pendahuluan (Introduction); Kajian Pustaka (Literature Review), Metode Penelitian (Research Method); Hasil dan Pembahasan (Result and Discussion); Kesimpulan dan Saran (Conclusion and Suggestion); and Daftar Pustaka (Reference).
  7. The title of the article should be as short as possible and should represent the content of the manuscript.
  8. Author names are written under the title, followed by author affiliation and e-mail address.
  9. Abstract written in Indonesia and English. Abstract not exceeding 150-200 words, write a narrative consisting of the purpose of the research, data or research objects, methods, results or conclusions, and recommendations.
  10. Keywords: words or phrases that are important, specific, or representative for articles and consist of 3-5 words.
  11. The manuscript must be written in the PACIVIC Journal Template.

2. The Guidelines for the Manuscript Body Text

Judul Artikel (Article Title)

Informative title and written briefly and clearly. The title does not give rise to multiple interpretations. The title must be appropriate to the problem being discussed. Each word begins with an uppercase letter. The title does not contain irrelevant abbreviations. The title is written in a maximum of twenty words, 12pt font size, with bold settings and centered text formatting.

Nama Penulis dan Alamat Email (Author Name and Email Address)

Use Times New Roman font with size of 11pt. The author's name and e-mail address must be clearly spelled out with sequential and systematic numbers.

Abstrak (Abstract)

Abstract must be written in Indonesia and English with a maximum of 150-200 words and followed by three to five keywords. The abstract must contain research objectives, data or research objects, methods, results or conclusions, and suggestions. Abstract is written with 1 space and uses Times New Roman font with size 10 pt.

Pendahuluan (Introduction)

The introduction describes the background of the research problem, based on data relevant to the research, the formulation of the problem according to the theme of the study or scope, and the purpose of conducting the research. The introduction is written in flowing paragraph form and avoids the next sub-chapter in the introduction. The long portion of the introduction is as much as 20 (twenty) percent of the writing of the article.

Kajian Pustaka (Literature Review)

Literature review written in paragraphs and pointers according to needs. The literature review describes the review of various references originating from general scientific books, theoretical books, theses, theses, dissertations, and scientific journals and those that are closely related to research. Previous research related to research titles, relevant research, and research hypotheses. In addition, the literature review contains a theoretical basis that is displayed in complete, concise sentences, and is truly relevant to the part of the introduction and research objectives. Examples of quotations According to Suhartono (1955: A) that Nationalism Awareness is critical, rational, dialectical, proactive, and holistic thinking about the future of the nation based on current experience and based on experience.

Metode Penelitian (Research Method)

The research method is written in paragraph form and given pointers according to points that are considered important as subtitles. The research method describes the research design used which includes methods, types of data, data sources, samples, data collection techniques, variables, and measurement of variables and data analysis techniques.

Hasil dan Pembahasan (Result and Discussion)

The results of the research are written in the form of paragraphs regarding the results of the research to the contents of the discussion. Written systematically, critical analysis, and innovative and constructive. The use of tables, figures, and so on is only as supporting data that clarifies the discussion and is limited to substantial supporters, for example tables of statistical test results, images of model test results, and so on. The discussion of the results is argumentative in nature regarding the relevance between the results, theory, previous research, and the empirical facts found and shows the novelty of the findings.

Tabel, gambar, dan grafik (Tables, figures, and graphs) are placed at the top or bottom with titles placed above for tables and placed below for images and graphs with a center alignment (justify). Avoid giving explanations above or below in tables and figures by using words such as "Table above, Figure below, Table below, and so on", but state the table number clearly using a name such as Table 1., Figure 1., Graph 1., and so on. Tables are numbered in the order of presentation (Table 1., Table 2., and so on). The title on the table is written at the top of the table with a center justified position. Write down the complete data source and year from the table presented (optional).

The serial number on the image is written under the image described. Figures are numbered in the order of presentation (Figure 1., and so on). The title of the image is placed above the image with a center position (center justified). Write down the source and year of data from the images presented.

Kesimpulan dan Saran (Conclusion and Suggestion)

Writing conclusion and suggestion is written in the form of flowing paragraphs. The conclusion describes the conclusion which is written with a brief and clear explanation and shows the clarity of the contribution of the findings, the creation of new theories, and the possibility of developing research that can be carried out in the future. In addition, the conclusions contain research implications both theoretically and practically. Conclusions should be answers to research questions, and not expressed in statistical sentences. As well as giving suggestions needed to evaluate and further steps needed to improve research in the future.

Referensi (Reference)

The reference contains citations according to what is written in the article manuscripts (both books, journals, theses, and dissertations). Provisions for writing alphabetically with the format as below. Font type Times New Roman with size 12 pt, for line spacing 1 sp.

3. The Guidelines for the Citations and References

All the server data or quotes in the article taken from the other author articles should attach the reference sources. The references should use a reference application management such as Mendeley software. Try to use the writing model according to Mendeley's rules from Elseiver. Can use Mendeley desktop software or apply APA References style.
