Sinar Surya Abadi Sidoarjo https://jurnal.unipasby.ac.id/index.php/tibuana/article/view/8773
CV. Sinar Surya Abadi is a company engaged in the installation of iron frames. The manufacture of these products cannot be separated from hazardous equipment such as grinders, plasters, and others. This causes the risk of accidents at work. Thus the application of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) is very important to implement. Based on these problems, a study was made regarding the influence of work safety for project workers including iron with the FMEA approach on CV. Sidoarjo Eternal Sunshine. Occupational Health and Safety is a situation that affects the health and safety of workers or other employees. Occupational accidents can be reduced by implementing occupational safety and health (K3). FMEA is a structured procedure to identify and prevent as many failure modes as possible. FMEA focuses on preventing defects, increasing safety, and increasing customer satisfaction. The advantage of this FMEA is that it can improve the quality of control of the implementation of K3 so that it can prevent work accidents. FMEA serves to determine the actions of prioritized risks. The use of FMEA is also used to find out what potential risks exist in a production process. And also used to analyze failures from human error or the machine used.
Helga Adityawan . Mr. Khambali's pillow SME is engaged in producing pillows and bolsters with an average daily production of 140 units. The problemin Mr. Khambali's pillow SME is that the production output often does not meet demand because the process of stuffing the dacron into the pillow sack takes 8 minutes. This research aims to increase production capacity and reduce production costs. The method used in this research is Anthropometry, which is a reference for designing the machine to ensure its safe and comfortable use. Then, work time measurement is conducted using the time study method, and the calculation of production costs is compared before and after the design process. The results obtained from the design process are an increase in production from 140 units to 230 units per day and a reduction in production costs from IDR. 23,801 to IDR. 14,705. This research concludes that after designing the Dacron pillow-filling device, production increased by 90 units, and production costs decreased by IDR. 9,096.
Carendy Indrawan Hery Murnawan Copyright (c) 2024 Tibuana https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-07-28 2024-07-28 7 2 90 97 10.36456/tibuana.7.2.8889.90-97 Analysis of Ovality Deviation of Bending Superheater Tube Boiler Fabrication Process with Six Sigma Method in Manufacturing Company https://jurnal.unipasby.ac.id/index.php/tibuana/article/view/9355
Quality control in fabrication is critical to the success of the production process. In this study, key factors in production quality control were identified by analyzing the influence on the tube bending process in fabrication work. Ovality deviations occur during the tube bending process that exceeds 9 percent. 30 boiler superheater tube elements had to go through the repair process. The causes of tube bending deviations were analyzed using the Six Sigma approach with the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) methodology. The causes of failure were analyzed using FMEA, and the highest RPN of 320 was obtained due to design planning and manufacturing of bending dies that are in accordance with the OD tube and the placement of clamp die and pressure die distances that are not too far apart. In addition, an RPN value of 294 was obtained due to the bending speed being too high. The recommendation for the next project is to consider using a C-Frame machine with better control to make it easier for operators to adjust the pressure, temperature, and speed of a good machine to better maintain ovality.
Rina Sandora Syirva Maulidya Copyright (c) 2024 Tibuana https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-07-28 2024-07-28 7 2 98 106 10.36456/tibuana.7.2.9355.98-106 Designing Improvement of Service effectiveness Using M/M/1 and M/M/S Queue Models (Case Study: Customer Arrivals at Jatim Park Tourist Destination During Holidays and Peak Hours) https://jurnal.unipasby.ac.id/index.php/tibuana/article/view/9360
Queueing is a collection of people lined up with the purpose of waiting to be served, after which they leave the queue. Queuing activities often arise due to ineffective or suboptimal service times, resulting in longer wait times. To maximize and schedule service time optimally, queueing models such as M/M/1 and M/M/S systems are utilized. This study applies these models to analyze the queuing system at Jatim Park tourist destination. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of service at the ticketing counters of Jatim Park during holidays. To initiate the study, data was collected on visitor arrival times and average service times. The data analysis aims to optimize service effectiveness at the Kampung Coklat tourist area by implementing the FCFS (First Come, First Served) queueing method and the M/M/S system. The findings suggest that the optimal number of teller servers needed to serve visitors effectively is 2. The analysis also identifies that the longest queue occurs between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM, with 3 visitors waiting at its peak.
