REPOSITORY POLICY
Based on the information provided, WAKTU follows the policy outlined by Sherpa/Romeo regarding the archiving of different versions of the article. Here are the conditions under which each version can be archived:
-
Pre-print (submitted version): Authors are allowed to share or post the submitted version of their article on various platforms such as their personal homepage, non-commercial institutional repositories, non-commercial subject repositories, non-commercial social networks, and journal repository websites. When sharing the pre-print version, authors should include a caption stating that the manuscript will be published in WAKTU, emphasizing that it does not count as a prior publication.
-
Post-print (accepted version): Once the article is accepted and published, the posted version (pre-print) should be updated with a full citation to the original article in WAKTU, including the DOI. The accepted version can be used for non-commercial scholarly purposes, subject to full attribution under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.
-
Publisher's version/PDF (final published article): The final published version of the article should replace the previously posted versions. The published article version can also be used for a variety of non-commercial scholarly purposes, subject to full attribution under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.
However, there are exceptions to this policy, which include:
- Systematic upload or collation of articles across repositories.
- Copying or downloading documents for further distribution for a fee.
- Any use of the documents in conjunction with advertising.
- Any use of the documents for promotional purposes by for-profit organizations.
- Any use that would result in monetary reward, commercial gain, or commercial exploitation.
Authors are advised to carefully read and understand the copyright and licensing terms of WAKTU, as well as the archiving notice, to ensure compliance with the policy.
