Abstract

this research is entitled The Effect of Organizational Commitment, Leadership Transformation and Employee Competence on Employee Performance through Job Satisfaction at the PT. Pegadaian Wilayah IV Balikpapan. The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the Effect of Organizational Commitment, Leadership Transformation and Employee Competence on Employee Performance through Job Satisfaction at the PT. Pegadaian Wilayah IV Balikpapan. The research method used is a type of explanatory research and quantitative research approach with a population and a sample of 100 respondents in employees of the PT. Pegadaian Wilayah IV Balikpapan. The sampling technique uses saturated samples and the research instrument uses a likert scale and data analysis using validity tests, reliability tests and analysis methods using Partial Least Square (PLS). It is hoped that the results of the study will contribute to improving employee performance and job satisfaction in employees of the PT. Pegadaian Wilayah IV Balikpapan. The results of the study that organizational commitment does not have a direct and significant effect on job satisfaction, leadership transformation does not have a direct and significant effect on job satisfaction, employee competence has a direct and significant effect on job satisfaction, organizational commitment has a direct and significant effect on employee performance, leadership transformation does not have a direct and significant effect on employee performance, Employee Competence has a direct effect on employee performance, Job satisfaction has a direct effect on employee performance, Organizational commitment does not have an indirect and significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction, Leadership transformation does not have an indirect and significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction, Employee competence has an indirect and significant effect on employee performance through  job satisfaction.
