Abstract

This research aims to reveal the meaning of  the Tradisi Roah 1001 Dulang Tebolak Beaq, which was carried out in the village of Gelanggang, Sakra Timur sub-district, Lombok Timur regency. The research also aims to describe the background of its implementation, the pro- cess, the response of  the community, religious leaders, and the government towards this tradition, and its potential to become one of the cultural and religious tourist attractions in Lombok Timur regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, where data is collected through interviews, discussions, and direct observation. Data analysis is done the- matically, and data validation is done through member checking, triangulation, and peer review. The results of  the research indicate that the Tradisi Roah 1001 Dulang Tebolak Beaq plays a role as a social unifier and a manifestation of  religious teachings and values contained in Pancasila. This tradition is carried out at the Batu Ngereng tomb during the Sya’ban month to honor the spirits of  the deceased and express gratitude to Allah. This tradition has the potential to become a tourist attraction for the Gelanggang tourist village.This abstract sec- tion should be typed in Italic font and font size of 9 pt and number of words of 100-150.
