KEKAYAAN BAHASA ACEH IDENTITAS BUDAYA YANG TAK TERGANTIKAN

Abstract

Acehnese is one of the cultural assets that represent the historical and sociocultural identity of the Acehnese people. As part of the wealth of regional languages in Indonesia, Acehnese not only serves as a means of communication but also as a medium for the transmission of local values, norms, and traditions. The purpose of this article is to preserve the culture of the Acehnese language. The method used is a literature review article. The result obtained is that the preservation of the Acehnese language is not merely a linguistic effort, but a form of protection for an invaluable cultural heritage. Therefore, the active role of all parties—both the government, educational institutions, and the community—is necessary to preserve the existence of the Acehnese language as an irreplaceable cultural identity.
