Abstract

This planning aims to determine the generation of waste, the composition of the waste, the design of the TPST and the Budget Plan in Turirejo Village, Kedamean District, Gresik Regency. The method used to plan this TPST is the method of projection and data analysis. The projection method that will be used in this planning is the Least Square method. The data processing method used is the Slovin method and the Krecjie-Morgan method. Then the design criteria used to plan the design of the TPST in Turirejo Village are guided by the Minister of Public Works of the Republic of Indonesia 2016 concerning the 3R TPS Technical Guidelines. The TPST building consists of an organic waste storage area, an enumeration room, a composting area, a compost warehouse, and an inorganic waste processing area. The Budget Plan required from the TPST development design plan in Turirejo Village is Rp. 677,049,266.

    We  wish to submit an original research article entitled “Planning for an Integrated Waste Processing Site (TPST) in Turirejo Village, Kedamean District, Gresik Regency” for consideration by Plano Buana Journal .  We  confirm that this work is original and has not been published elsewhere, nor is it currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.

     

    In this paper, We  show that The principle of implementing an Integrated Waste Processing Site (TPST) is directed at using the concept of reduce, reuse and recycle, where efforts are made to reduce waste from the source on a communal or regional scale, to reduce waste from the source. This is significant because Waste that must be processed properly at the communal or regional level is not sent directly to the landfill.  

    We believe that this manuscript is appropriate for publication by Plano Buana Journal because it covering the results of thoughts and research results relating to the field of rural development  

    The significance and novelty of the work is, Law no. 18 of 2008 concerning Waste Management with a new paradigm in the form of waste reduction and handling activities has been enacted, but until now people still use the old paradigm to handle waste. Good coordination and cooperation is needed between the local government as the facility provider and the community as the producer and manage of waste.The form of collaboration is in the form of an integrated waste processing .

    The method used to plan this TPST is the method of projection and data analysis. It is important to determine the amount of waste generation, density and composition of waste produced by the residents of Turirejo Village and then to determine the space requirements needed; create a detailed design plan for the TPST; prepare a cost, investment, operational and maintenance budget plan.
