Abstract

Pendidikan jasmani adaptif merupakan salah satu pembelajaran gerak yang dikembangkan untuk menyediakan program bagi individu yang berkebutuhan khusus. Salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan keberagaman karakteristik peserta didik dalam kelas yang inklusif adalah dengan menerapkan prinsip Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Penelitian ini berjenis kualitati. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini studi kasus. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah pernyataan-pernyataan yang didapatkan dari wawancara dan sumber datanya adalah transkrip wawancara dengan 4 guru pendamping khusus di 4 SMPN Program Inklusif PPDB Surabaya, sehingga 4 guru pendamping khusus tersebut adalah narasumber dalam penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara nonstruktural yang berguna untuk mengeksplorasi secara reaktif jawaban dari narasumber di tiap pertanyaan. Data analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis konten. Hasil penelitiannya adalah pendekatan UDL ini memberi keleluasaan kepada guru untuk menyesuaikan kurikulum, menyesuaikan cara penyampaian pembelajaran, dan menilai siswa dengan cara yang memungkinkan. digunakan untuk membantu memperkuat program dengan mengidentifikasi area yang membutuhkan perbaikan. Hal tersebut dapat digunakan dalam program pendidikan untuk membantu guru belajar tentang lingkungan pendidikan jasmani inklusif atau dapat digunakan untuk guru praktik untuk memeriksa dan/atau mengevaluasi lingkungan pengajaran.
