Abstract

This research is motivated by the behavior of students who often use their mobile phones during class hours and outside the classroom massively. This guidance and counseling action research aims to determine whether the provision of classical guidance services with the Game Based Learning method can reduce the phubbing behavior of class X AKL 2 students of SMK Negeri 1 Kudus.. This classroom action research took place for two cycles with two meetings in each cycle. The subjects of this study were 35 class X AKL 2 students of SMK Negeri 1 Kudus. The data collection techniques used were psychological scales and observation. Data analysis used descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study showed that the game-based learning method was able to reduce the phubbing behavior of class X AKL 2 students of SMK Negeri 1 Kudus.
