Abstract

Early English and Indonesian bilingual programs have become a topic of interest in Indonesian education. This program aims to produce a superior generation in the era of globalization. The implementation of this bilingual program is carried out in various educational institutions, such as Early Childhood Education. The implementation of this bilingual program aims to improve student’s English language skills from an early age. This program can help students understand the culture and values contained in English. However, the implementation of this bilingual program still faces several challenges, such as the lack of qualified human resources and the lack of support from the surrounding environment. Nevertheless, several studies have shown that implementing a bilingual program can improve students' English learning activities and achievement. In addition, bilingual programs can also help students understand the subject matter better. In the era of globalization, English language skills are very important. A bilingual English and Indonesian program from an early age can help produce a generation that is superior and ready to face the challenges of the future. However, the implementation of this program still needs support from various parties, including educational institutions, parents, and the surrounding environment.
