Abstract

The management of the Independent Curriculum at KB Al Fawwaz, Tawang subdistrict, Tasikmalaya City basically uses a curriculum that has been adapted to the dynamics that exist in society. This research aims to describe how to implement curriculum management used at KB Al Fawwaz in implementing learning. This research used a qualitative approach with the informant being the head of the Al Fawwaz family planning institution. Data collection techniques include school observations, in-depth interviews with heads of institutions, observations of teachers, children and the surrounding environment. After the data is observed, the data will be analyzed into a qualitative description to produce new and relevant information data. Based on the results of observations, curriculum management uses curriculum planning principles, namely 1) curriculum planning based on students' experiences; 2) curriculum planning is made based on various decisions about content and process; 3) the curriculum contains decisions about various actual issues; 4) curriculum planning involves many groups; 5) curriculum planning is carried out at various levels; 6) curriculum planning is carried out at various levels; 7) curriculum planning is a continuous process.
