Integrasi Nilai-Nilai Islami dalam Profesionalisme Guru MI di Era Modern

Abstract

The importance of this research is that the professionalism of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) teachers not only produces pedagogical competence but also integrates it with Islamic principles in the contemporary era. The research aims to describe the professionalism of MI teachers, identify the implementation of Islamic values, and analyze the integration of both in learning practices. This study uses a qualitative methodology, which is a type of case study. The research shows that MI teachers have quite good professionalism, especially in planning and implementing learning. The results show that technology is still limited, but Islamic principles such as discipline, exemplary behavior, honesty, and responsibility have been applied in learning and daily interactions. The integration of Islamic values ​​​​in teacher professionalism is seen through the association of material with Islamic values, the habit of worship, and teacher behavior as role models. However, this integration is not fully optimal because there is still a separation between academic aspects and religious values. This research has a significant impact on the development of MI teacher professionalism based on Islamic values ​​​​that are relevant to the demands of the modern era.
