Abstract

The research aims to describe the characteristics of adobe flash media in the material for science content learning content for class IV SD Negeri Tanjungtirto 2 Sleman, examine the feasibility of adobe flash media products, energy sources for science learning content for class IV SD Negeri Tanjungtirto 2 Sleman, describe student responses after the implementation of adobe flash media on the energy source material for science learning content for Class IV SD Negeri Tanjungtirto 2 Sleman. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study from Borg & Gall whose research subject consists of 7 steps. The research subjects were 15 fourth grade students of SD Negeri Tanjungtirto 2 Sleman. Data collection techniques using interviews, questionnaires or questionnaires. The instrument used was a questionnaire sheet or questionnaire. The data analysis technique used qualitative and quantitative data. The results showed that the characteristics of adobe flash media can be seen from interactive text, videos and animations, adobe flash media can also train students' independence because students can access the media easily. The results of material validation get a percentage of 96% which is categorized as Very Good (SB) which means that Adobe flash media is feasible to use, the results of media expert validation get a percentage of 81.25% which is categorized as Good (B) which means that Adobe flash media is feasible to use, the results of the validation of the class teacher get a percentage of 95% which is categorized as Very Good (SB), which means that Adobe flash media is feasible to use. The adobe flash media that was developed got a good response from students with a score of 50% in the Very Good (SB) category and 50% in the Good (B) category, which means that Adobe flash media is feasible to use. According to the results of material experts, media experts, classroom teachers and student response questionnaires, it can be concluded that Adobe flash media is appropriate to be used as a learning medium in grade IV SD Negeri Tanjungtirto 2.
