Pembelajaran Culturally Responsive Teaching Menggunakan Augmented Reality untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Koneksi dan Kepercayaan Diri Matematis

This study aims to improve students’ mathematical connection ability and mathematical self-confidence through Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) supported by Augmented Reality (AR) using the Assemblr Edu platform. A quantitative method with a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design was applied to 25 tenth-grade students at SMK Maarif NU Ciamis. The instruments consisted of a mathematical connection test and a mathematical self-confidence questionnaire, both of which had been tested for validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, paired-samples t-test, and Cohen’s d effect size. The results showed that the average mathematical connection score increased from 53.00 to 74.67, while mathematical self-confidence increased from 84.80 to 102.68. These findings indicate that the integration of CRT and AR through Assemblr Edu is effective in strengthening students’ mathematical connections as well as building their confidence in learning mathematics.
