Abstract

This study aims to deconstruct the relevance of Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory in the Islamic education ecosystem at Raudhatul Athfal (RA) in Purbalingga Regency. The phenomenon shows the stability of educator performance despite limited material well-being. Using a descriptive qualitative method through a phenomenological study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with RA teachers who have high dedication in the area. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions using source triangulation techniques to ensure data validity. The results of the study revealed the phenomenon of "Transcendental Self-Actualization," where educators make a hierarchical leap from basic needs directly to self-actualization based on Islamic values (Lillahita'ala). This finding proves that the valueQana'ah And Sincerefunctions as a spiritual moderating variable that negates the linearity of Maslow's theory in a religious context. The implications of this research suggest the need for a human resource management model in Islamic educational institutions that integrates the fulfillment of psychophysical needs with strengthening afterlife motivation in order to maintain the resilience of educator professionalism.
