Abstrak

Penggunaan gadget di kalangan anak usia dini meningkat seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi digital dalam kehidupan keluarga dan pendidikan. Meskipun gadget dapat digunakan sebagai media hiburan dan pembelajaran, penggunaan yang berlebihan dapat memengaruhi perkembangan sosial-emosional anak, termasuk munculnya perilaku tantrum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh intensitas penggunaan gadget terhadap perilaku tantrum pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kausal. Responden adalah 113 orang tua atau wali anak usia 4-6 tahun di Kecamatan Cakung, Jakarta Timur, yang dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner tertutup menggunakan skala Likert lima poin. Intensitas penggunaan gadget diukur melalui indikator durasi, frekuensi, dan jenis konten yang diakses anak, sedangkan perilaku tantrum diukur melalui indikator frekuensi tantrum, durasi tantrum, dan perilaku tantrum verbal dan fisik. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan regresi linier sederhana dengan SPSS versi 26. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa intensitas penggunaan gadget berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku tantrum pada anak usia dini, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,807 menunjukkan hubungan yang kuat antara kedua variabel, sedangkan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,651 menunjukkan bahwa 65,1% variasi perilaku tantrum dapat dijelaskan oleh intensitas penggunaan gadget. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi intensitas penggunaan gadget, semakin tinggi kecenderungan terjadinya perilaku tantrum pada anak usia dini. Studi ini merekomendasikan pentingnya pengawasan orang tua dan guru dalam mengatur durasi, frekuensi, dan jenis konten digital yang diakses anak untuk mendukung perkembangan sosial-emosional yang sehat.
