Childhood is a critical phase in shaping character and developing an individual’s personality. Therefore, character education introduced from an early age serves as a foundational pillar in cultivating a generation with noble character. This study aims to explore the implementation of picture story methods as a means of instilling positive character values in early childhood at KB Tunas Bangsa Mantingan. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, utilizing data collection techniques such as participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the picture story method has been systematically integrated into daily learning activities and is effective in fostering key character traits, including honesty, responsibility, empathy, cooperation, and independence. Educators utilize picture books containing moral messages and exemplary characters, complemented by supporting media such as puppets and expressive verbal and nonverbal storytelling techniques to enhance children’s engagement. Challenges encountered include limited availability of learning media and varying levels of interest among children.
