Abstract

Problem-solving is a fundamental 21st-century skill that needs to be fostered from an early age. This descriptive qualitative study aims to describe the application of unplugged coding worksheets as a medium for stimulating problem-solving skills in children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Aksarosa Mulya Lestari. Data collection was conducted through participant observation and interviews, then analyzed qualitatively through the stages of data cleaning, transcribing, coding and categorizing, and interpreting. The research findings revealed that the application of unplugged coding worksheets successfully stimulated children in identifying problems, finding various alternative solutions, predicting potential obstacles, determining the best solution, and evaluating the chosen solution. In addition, this medium was also proven to be able to arouse children's interest and enthusiasm in participating in learning activities.
