Repository & Self-Archiving Policy

 

Jurnal Buana Teknologi Pendidikan (JBTEP) supports the dissemination of scholarly knowledge through open access and author self-archiving.

Authors are permitted to deposit their scholarly works in institutional repositories, subject-based repositories, personal academic websites, and other scholarly platforms of their choice, subject to applicable copyright and licensing conditions.

Permitted Manuscript Versions

Authors may deposit and share the following manuscript versions:

  1. Submitted Version (Preprint). Authors may share their manuscript before peer review.
  2. Accepted Manuscript (Postprint). Authors may deposit the final manuscript accepted for publication after peer review.
  3. Published Version (Version of Record). Authors may deposit and share the final published version of their article, subject to the license applicable to that article.

Embargo Policy

JBTEP does not impose an embargo period on self-archiving for articles published under its current Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licensing policy. Authors may deposit eligible manuscript versions immediately, subject to applicable copyright and licensing conditions.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors must comply with the copyright and Creative Commons license applicable to the relevant article. Articles published under the journal's current licensing policy use the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

Previously published articles may have different licensing conditions. Those conditions remain applicable unless formally changed with authorization from the relevant rights holders.

Citation and Attribution

Deposited versions should include appropriate attribution, the article's original publication details, and a link to the published Version of Record using its Digital Object Identifier (DOI), whenever available.

Repository Selection

Authors may select repositories appropriate to their scholarly discipline or institutional affiliation. JBTEP does not require authors to use a particular repository.

Policy Scope

This policy applies to author self-archiving practices in accordance with applicable publishing agreements, copyright ownership, and article-specific license conditions.
