Abstract

In the midst of the rapid development of Science and Technology [IPTEK], mastering the English language is essential because English is the international language. Education is the key to mastering both Science and Technology and English because, through education, students can develop their knowledge, character, and skills. Therefore, it is necessary to design contextual learning methods in remote, outer, and isolated areas effectively. This article will explore how to innovatively and creatively design learning methods using a qualitative approach, involving classroom observation, planning, implementation, and reflection within Classroom Action Research. The research subjects focus on Grade VIII students at SMP YPPK Santo Fransiskus Moanemani and involve other English teachers and staff as research participants to complement the study. The observations' results will be discussed to design an appropriate contextual method tailored to the students' characteristics in English subjects in Moanemani, Dogiyai Regency.
