PENGEMBANGAN MODUL AJAR DIGITAL BERBASIS TEKNOLOGI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA

The rapid advancement of digital technology has encouraged teachers to develop innovative learning resources, particularly digital teaching modules that support student-centered learning. However, the preliminary needs assessment revealed that many mathematics teachers from private senior high schools under the Musyawarah Kerja Kepala Sekolah (MKKS) of Surabaya still encountered difficulties in developing digital teaching modules, especially in utilizing digital applications for instructional design. This community service program aimed to enhance teachers' competencies in designing technology-based digital teaching modules using Canva to support the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum and improve students' learning engagement. The program adopted a participatory approach consisting of needs assessment, instructional sessions, demonstrations, hands-on practice, mentoring, and evaluation. A total of 50 mathematics teachers from private senior high schools under the MKKS of Surabaya participated in the program. The results indicated that all participants successfully developed digital teaching modules using Canva by incorporating various features such as educational templates, illustrations, infographics, QR codes, and hyperlinks to digital learning resources. In addition to producing more attractive and interactive teaching modules, the program also improved teachers' confidence and competence in integrating digital technology into classroom instruction. Therefore, the workshop and mentoring program proved to be an effective strategy for strengthening teachers' digital competencies while supporting the implementation of innovative, interactive, and student-centered learning practices.
