Peran strategis bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa global dalam meningkatkan akses masyarakat terhadap pendidikan, informasi dan kesempatan kerja di era digital. Namun demikian, pemahaman masyarakat seringkali masih terbatas pada aspek kemampuan berbahasa tanpa kesadaran kritis terhadap fungsi, manfaat dan implikasi sosial budaya dari penggunaan bahasa Inggris. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk membangun kesadaran kritis masyarakat akan pentingnya bahasa Inggris sebagai media komunikasi global melalui program literasi bahasa. Metode yang digunakan adalah konseling interaktif, diskusi kelompok, studi kasus dan praktik literasi berdasarkan konteks kehidupan sehari-hari. Sasaran kegiatannya adalah masyarakat umum khususnya remaja dan pemuda. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui observasi partisipan, refleksi partisipan dan angket sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta tentang peran bahasa Inggris dalam lintas komunikasi budaya, pendidikan dan dunia kerja, serta tumbuhnya motivasi untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berbahasa Inggris secara berkelanjutan. Program ini dapat menjadi model literasi bahasa untuk mendorong masyarakat agar lebih adaptif, kritis, dan siap menghadapi tantangan global.
