PELATIHAN BOOK REVIEW DI JURNAL INTERNATIONAL BEREPUTASI (WEB OF SCIENCE) DI IAIN MADURA PAMEKASAN

Abstract

As part of this community service program, lecturers are required to update their knowledge and skills in order to effectively prepare and submit worldwide publications to prestigious journals. Given the present circumstances, it is imperative for all lecturers to acquire the skills necessary to effectively prepare and commence the process of producing a book review for publication in a web of science magazine. Several educators want assistance in comprehending the process of initiating and navigating book reviews in English language acquisition on the Scopus or Web of Science database. In this community service activity, the lecturers from the English Language Education Study Program at PGRI Adi Buana University Surabaya collaborate with English teachers from the Program Study of English Education at IAIN Madura Pamekasan. They provide technical guidance on writing book reviews for international journals like Web of Science. Through engagement in this technical guidance, educators can strategically design and employ digital storytelling medium in English language instruction, taking into account the unique attributes of their students and the materials outlined in the relevant curriculum. The participants are optimistic that this activity will remain sustainable, as it is one of the activities conducted by the Lecturer Team of the Mathematics Education Study Program at PGRI Adi Buana University Surabaya that supports learning activities and aids teachers in enhancing their potential through both learning and research, ultimately contributing to school accreditation.
