About the Journal

JALEE (Journal of Applied Linguistics and English Education) is a peer-reviewed academic journal that focuses on publishing original research and scholarly work in the fields of Applied Linguistics, English Language Education, Literary Studies, and Cultural Studies. It serves as a platform for educators, researchers, and practitioners to share innovative ideas, critical insights, and practical approaches related to English language teaching, learning, and use. The journal covers topics such as language, teaching, curriculum, assessment, literature, cultural studies, discourse analysis, and other related studies. JALEE also welcomes interdisciplinary studies that explore the intersections between education, language, literature, and culture. With a commitment to academic rigour and inclusivity, JALEE encourages contributions from both emerging and experienced scholars, particularly those exploring local or underrepresented contexts in language and literary education. The publication frequently is published twice a year in June and December.
