The PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) is a decentralized digital preservation service developed by the Public Knowledge Project to support the long-term preservation of scholarly journals using Open Journal Systems.

INVENTA recognizes PKP PN as a preservation mechanism that may be implemented through the journal's OJS platform, subject to technical eligibility, registration, and activation by the journal management.

The network provides distributed preservation of journal content and supports its recovery and public accessibility under specified circumstances when the original journal platform becomes unavailable.
