The make a match type cooperative learning learning model is a learning model that requires students to be able to collaborate in pairing question and answer cards related to learning material. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Dalem Yogyakarta with the research subject of the principal, homeroom teacher V, and grade V students. This study aims to describe the implementation of the make a match type cooperative learning learning model in social studies learning, obstacles in the implementation of the make a match type cooperative learning learning model in social studies learning, and solutions in overcoming obstacles in the implementation of the make a match type cooperative learning learning model in social studies learning. Social studies learning. The research method used in this study is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques using three instruments, namely observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis phase uses Miles and Huberman's which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of the make a match type cooperative learning model in social studies learning has gone well.
