Abstract

Inadequate use of learning media causes Kawahmanuk Elementary School student to get bored easily, lack focus, and have difficulty understanding subject matter, especially in science and science learning. The aim of this research is to produce Smart Apps Creator (SAC) media that is valid, practical anf effective for use in the science and science science leraning process regarding plant reproduction in class IV elementary schools. This research includes development research using the ADDIE model which consists of five stage, including: analyze, design, develompent, implementation, and evaluation. The product trial was carried out on 32 grade IV students at SDN Kawahmanuk. The instruments used in this research are interviews, questionnaires and tests with data analysis using descriptive statistics. The media validation results obtained an average percentage of 93% and material validation of 90% which was included in the “Very Valid” category. The results of the practicality of Smart Apps Creator (SAC) media based on the results of the responses of educators and students respectively obtained a percentage of 99% and 94%. In addition, the mean difference test, carried out to evaluate the effectiveness of students learning outcomes before anf after implementing Smart Apps Creator (SAC) media, produced a significance value of 0,000 which is less than the threshold of 0,05. And the N-Gain value was obtained at 0,62 or 62%. So that the Smart Apps Creator (SAC) media is suitable for use in science leraning.
