The purpose of this research was to implement a Wayang Lidi project based on local culture in arts and craft learning (SBdP) at SDI Darul Hikmah Krian, for 23 students in fourth grade. This research method used descriptive qualitative research which was carried out by formulating a problem that guides the research to explore the social situation comprehensively, and deeply. Researchers collected journal articles on the Google Scholar database using keywords, “implementation of Wayang Lidi; Arts and Culture Learning; Elementary School” with 15 articles. The research results showed that the implementation of a Wayang Lidi project based on the local culture not only involved their hand skills, but also integrated local culture in every process of making it and using it. Besides that, it also introduced students to local culture, instilled local culture value in every detail of making Wayang Lidi, and being able to recycle materials creatively and environmentally friendly. For that reason,Wayang Lidi project based on the local culture can be implemented in arts learning (SBdP).
